  1. The SBS Olympics: As far as I’m aware, they paid around 40mil? to be the ‘complementary broadcaster’ – the rules are that they can only show team sports and no Australian teams, unless specifically permitted by Ch7 (thankfully they were for the Olyroos vs Argentina). So basically they’ll show any team event that they can. My IQ2 is taping every indoor volleyball game that they are showing! πŸ˜‰

Thankfully Ch9 have the rights from now on, and they can only do better. Anyone heard of multi-casting?

  2. *I should state that the 40mil is unsubstantiated, I have no idea where I heard that.

  3. Lovely to hear John Richards again – and keep fighting the good fight for human rights! Can you become the 5th Boxcutter, please? It doesn’t matter if you haven’t watched telly – still informative and entertaining.

There’s a little more detail (but not much) to Bolden’s comment here

I think you’re right about Scott Bakula in anything he’s done… I’m sure I saw him with his shirt off in Enterprise as well. No more his hairy chest or John Ritter’s testicles – television is poorer for it.

I didn’t catch the name, but someone subscribed to Boxcutters during Radiothon this morning. There’s part of your rent paid for the next 12 months.

PS: can we have the Preview Post function back please?

  4. It was me! πŸ˜‰ Man, it was hard though, Boxcutters isn’t in their drop down list, but I got it done!

  5. Hey, good idea Bolden.
I’m going to do the same and suggest that all Boxcutters listeners who are RRR subscribers do the same or at least mention Boxcutters. Maybe you can subscribe to a show and Boxcutters – kind of like dual nationality.

  6. Yeah, I had to go Byte-into-IT officially, and Boxcutters as a sort of side note. I was surprised I couldn’t easily subscribe, after all they did get a mention in the latest Trip mag! πŸ˜‰
