There is no information yet regarding the return of The Sopranos but HBO are currently rescreening series 5 with another 10 episodes to go. One can only guess that season 6 will begin screening following that. Then again, who the hell knows? HBO tell us proudly that a further eight bonus episodes are due for January 2007. That’s cold comfort for those of us jonesing.
The vaguely remembered point regarding Optus and the ACCC over cable television can be understood (or further confused) with this ACCC release from 2002. Yes, 2002! You can rest assured that Boxcutters will continue to bring you the news three and half years late.
This week we’re talking about listener feedback, the Green Guide letter writers’ outrage at Chris Beck‘s hatchet job of Livinia Nixon, Pauline Hanson‘s appointment as roving reporter for Dancing with the Stars: Strictly Backstage, You Make Me Feel Like Dancing – Daryl Summers‘s upcoming musical release, The Posture Alert, news on TV and TV news, the Footy Show, channel nine‘s new logo, Red Simons getting his face everywhere on ABC radio and TV, Tracy Bartram on ABC radio, Chopper Reid on Nova, rumours of Richard Stubbs being dropped from the 3LO roster, Raywatch, Rockstar INXS, Black Jack – In the Money, The Shield, new shows starting in the US fall season – including My Name is Earl and Everybody Hates Chris with Chris Rock – and heaps more.

I enjoyed the podcast – looking forward to more. You and Josh are hilarious together. Glad there are others out there gnashing their teeth at the shoddy treatment of late-night TV watchers. But I have one big gripe: I was watching the 7.30 Report that night and I couldn’t stop staring at Kerry O’Brien’s ears. I’ve never noticed them before. It’ll never be the same again! Your fault.

The Mole, meanwhile, is no longer hosted by Grant Bowler but does feature the new PSP.
The Harlem Globetrotters really did end up on Gilligan’s Island and there really was a resort on the island.

On the first episode of Boxcutters we intimated that we were friends with Kevin Rose and Alex Albrecht of Diggnation fame. We’re not but we’d like to be. Their show is really cool.
