Another one down

Donald Trump has announced there will be no more Apprentice. Despite apparent network keenness Trump is just too busy, although he hinted there may be another TV project in the works.

  1. Every media source that I have read about this has Trump “resigning” rather than being waiting for the imminent sacking.
He hardly even participates in the show anymore so I can’t see how he would be too busy.
I just realised that I didn’t watch the finale of the current season having sat through week after week of the actual show. I think that is probably a good indication of the enthusiasm that exists for the show now.

  2. Rob Boxcutter says:

Perhaps the Apprentice-sized hole can be filled by On The Lot, the Steven Spielberg / Mark Burnett co-production which has just started in the US. It sounds similar in concept to Project Greenlight but on a grander scale and focusing (pardon the pun) on directors rather than writers.

  3. On The Lot should be interesting.

Lyndal – the last series of The Apprentice was pretty good, but the finale was terrible. You didn’t miss anything. Live from the Hollywood Bowl – yuckkkk.

Bad television, even for an Apprentice Finale.
