Just announced by Channel 10 – Yasmin has been axed.
Good news for all us Futurama fans with the great show moving into the 7pm timeslot.
No word yet on whether Yasmin will get married in any case or if she is destined to be alone her whole life.
Poor Yasmin.
Still, at least Channel 10 are out there trying new things.
Looking forward to Tuesday’s Ricky Gervais penned Simpsons?

Unfortunately it appears to have been bumped for yet another useless hour long Big Brother special, presumably to squeeze more unwanted housemates in place of the turkey slapping duo booted out last weekend.
It goes without saying how much this sucks, and what contempt it shows for everybody else other than the 2 or 3 remaining BB06 fans.
But don’t despair, The Wedge is still on at 8. I wonder what hilarious trouble that inarticulate sportsman has got himself into this week.

Well, 10’s marketing team hasn’t missed a beat…
The new promo for their show (previously Renee’s Getting Married) now freezes and a red line crosses out Renee and writes in Yasmin.
So it’s Yasmin I guess, unless she runs off with an ex boyfriend between now and when the show kicks off.

As fans of Futurama (which I think we all are) it becomes our duty to see the new Al Gore film An Inconvenient Truth or at least watch this trailer on YouTube.
This media release just came through from Channel 9.
Nine Network chief executive Eddie McGuire tonight announced that the Nine Network had secured the Australian television exclusive interviews with Beaconsfield Mine survivors Todd Russell and Brant Webb.
Nine will on Sunday night at 8.30pm broadcast a special two-hour presentation featuring the rescued miners to be hosted by Tracy Grimshaw.
The Great Escape will see Russell and Webb talk for the first time of their remarkable two-week underground ordeal.

So that answers that question.
