Yes… who could believe that we’ve already done 8 episodes? We’re almost at our landmark 10 which we will call our Decisode of Telly!
For the moment, though, comfort yourselves with another great show. Raywatch is back with a vengance. We’ve also got an interesting look at Letters to Boxcutters and the ratings system. We take a quick look at 24 and The Surgeon. Ross has some new shows, Brett has some reviews and Josh has some news.
Ooh, there’s also more I Don’t Buy It because we know you love it so much.
What else could you ask for? No, really, what else? Let us know at hooray@boxcutters.net.
For the moment, though, Get the Feed!

Well, it's never too late to make a comment.
Okay, it is too late to make a comment, but I'm going to make one anyway.
Just a few comments:
– Doctor Who –
Yes, when working out how many doctors there are you include Peter Cushing by all means, but you don't *count* him (or at least, you only co-count him), because he's playing the same version of the doctor as William Hartnell. Except he's a bit different. But anyway… still counted as Doctor number 1.
You definitely count Paul McGann. Yes, he only got one shot at things, but it was a BBC co-production, and they even had Sylvester McCoy (doctor number 7) there for ten minutes just so that he could get shot and regenerate. That's got continuity written all over it.
I have wondered about whether the whole “12 regenerations thing” would be conveniently forgotten about – just on the basis of it being a relatively obscure fact that fans of the new series wouldn't necessarily know about. But on balance, the writers are fans of the show, and I doubt that they'd (apart from anything else) want to wear the criticism for ignoring some of it's history. Besides all of which, as a writer would you give up the opportunities that come out of something like that?
Yes I am something of a Doctor Who fan, why do you ask?
– Poker –
Exactly – finally someone else has said it (well… finally four years ago): what the hell /is/ the deal with poker? Why are people suddenly acting like tools about whether they're a good poker player?
– Bumpers –
I've listened to somewhere in the region of a hundred episodes. How can this be the first time I've heard Marieke Hardy tell you to “stick it in a fire and eat it”. Gold.
Ciao!

I'm glad that you didn't get as far as reading out my “Bumpoers” comment in Ep 190 – the Marieke one has been in every archive episode I've listened to since. 🙂
