“Robson believes she can front a daytime talk show and become Australia’s own Oprah Winfrey; Seven management is incredulous that she believes she connects with the television audience.”
Oh she will end up with somethng. It won’t be a talk show though, I don’t think she has the “connection” with people that will enable a workable format.
I can’t imagine her doing anything more on TV – maybe she can have a shot at taking grubby corporate cock and start being the face of Mabelline or something in the cosmetics world. Personally, I just find her completely up herself, on top of the self righteous persona that she’s had to project for the last however many years it’s been.
On top of that, I see the end of 7’s challenge in the current affairs wars. She was such the face of TT – probably for reasons of self-preservation – and there’s not really been any succession work done. Who, at 7, has anything near the public recognition?
You know who I’d love to see in the seat? David Marr doing a real current affairs show. Now THAT would get me tuning in. Of course, it’d probably mean all the production staff on the show would have to be sacked… and a new name…

Yeah I think a real current affairs show would be good too. You know what though. I bet she ends up on a “car” show.
Brett says:
Is “car” show a euphemism for something?
Is there some link to the Audi TT?
