It's Television: Dissected
Quite simply one of the best guests we’ve ever had on the show, Genevieve Lemon is honest, hilarious and an award winning actress. East Bound and Down is a new comedy from some of the people responsible for Funny or Die and we review it for your aural pleasure.

Honestly, it's just like David Lynch.
And here's Genevieve performing Midnight Oil's Blue Sky Mine on The Sideshow from 2007:

Was great to hear Brett talking more! Sometimes it seems like he's just the panel operator who has a few news items and that's it!
I like a nice even spread of yammering amongst you boys 🙂
Guys, any idea if Eastbound and down is coming to Aus (Foxtel or FTA). Sorry John, but it sounds interesting.
@alex: When we have people in for interviews, I can be a bit distracted if they're not great in their mic technique, with riding levels so they're high enough while the subjects are talking but then not too high while others are talking which leads to a strange effect as the loud mic picks up the other voices. Gen was great and I could set her and get more involved.
Also, I was loving my deep, husky voice – because of the shouting on the footy field on Sunday – and actually just used it because I literally loved the sound of my own voice. Normally I find it a little nasally with teeth and tongue lacking in enunciation.
Along with it sometimes being a little hard to get a word in edgewise in the studio, sometimes it's too much work to be more dominant.
@Bolden: Eastbound and Down starts locally, Wed 26th August 8:00PM on SHOWCASE
This was a really entertaining episode – I laughed a lot!
Quick someone scour the episodes for Josh mentioning Michael Jackson
I had *no idea * that Bananas in Pajamas was Australian! I watched it on the CBC every morning when I was growing up- I always assumed it was CanCon. I can't believe that they would dream of messing with the formatting. For shame. 🙁
any chance of a boxcutters tshirt which just says
Boxcutters
pod
cast
done
pork is on the table
I like it. And also Marieke's “Stickitinthefireandeatit!”
you guys did kill farrah fawcett though.
But did they kill Ed McMahon? Is there a statute of limitations on Josh's vocal death curse?
I loved Genevieve Lemon. She was great.
@kerrie: She was so the freakin' best.
